THE EXPERIENCE

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGINS

This is where it all begins. On your Discovery Flight with Rocket City Aviation Services, you’ll take to the skies in a modern Cirrus aircraft alongside one of our experienced instructors.We’ll start with a brief ground introduction to familiarize you with the aircraft, its advanced avionics, and answer any questions you have. Then it’s time to fly.

You’ll enjoy approximately 30 minutes in the air over the Huntsville area, and if you’re comfortable, you’ll have the opportunity to take the controls yourself.

After the flight, your instructor can log the time toward your future training.All Discovery Flights are conducted in our Cirrus aircraft, offering a premium four-seat experience with industry-leading safety features, including the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS).

Meet your instructor. Walk through the aircraft, avionics, and the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System before you ever leave the ground.

AIRCRAFT WALKTHROUGH

Your CFI will walk you through the preflight inspection so you understand the aircraft before you climb in.

IN THE AIR

~ 30 MINUTE FLIGHT

Fly over North Alabama with your instructor alongside. When you're ready, take the controls yourself and feel what it means to pilot.

AFTER LANDING

LOGBOOK CREDIT

Your instructor logs the flight time toward your private pilot certificate. Your aviation journey officially begins today.
